Apple senior exec Eddy Cue joined Ferrari’s board in November of last year, and now we’re starting to see the auto-maker implement Apple’s technology inside its sports cars. At the Geneva Motor Show Ferrari recently introduced its new LaFerrari car, which uses Apple’s iPad mini for in-car entertainment.
“The FF is also now seamlessly integrated with Apple technologies, thanks to direct access to the infotainment system via SIRI voice commands and the adoption of two iPad Minis as the entertainment system of choice for the rear seat passengers,” Ferrari said in a press release.
Possibly, but the two firms are known for stunning design so we’re not surprised about a little side partnership. The LaFerrari is a hybrid, despite packing an engine that provides up to 949-horsepower, the Los AngelesTimes said. Still, for a cool $1 million we would like to see customRetina displays on those iPad minis.
