One of my new favorite companies is definitely ZTE, I love what their doing with their Technology and lets face it, Apple is getting a little boring lately. There I said it.
ZTE has allowed another unreleased smartphone to slip through its net prior to an official unveiling. This time it’s an Android-powered smartphone being labeled the Blade III — the third-generation device in its Blade series.
According to a listing from Finnish retailer Verkkokauppa — which proves photos and specifications — the Blade III sports a 3.5-inch 800 x 480 display, a 1GHz Snapdragon MSM7227A processor, and a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera. It is also said to be running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box.
However, Verkkokauppa’s specifications appear to conflict with previous reports regarding the Blade III, which claim it will get a 4-inch display, rather than a 3.5-inch one. What’s more, the retailer also states that Samsung is the handset’s manufacturer. It certainly seems to have gotten its info mixed up a little, then.
It does provide pictures of the device, however, which you can see above.
Whatever the case may be regarding specifications, it’s looking like the Blade III won’t be ZTE’s latest flagship handset. If those specifications are anywhere near close, it would appear this handset is a mid- to low-range device aimed at the budget conscious smartphone user. We’ll know for certain when ZTE announces it — whenever that may be.
