Galaxy Note 7? Samsung Appears to be designing one

Here at ioTechie we tend to have a very extensive WareWars campaign in which half the staff is #TeamAndroid and the other half #TeamiOS, with this being said it looks like Samsung is not bowing down to Apple but instead competing heavily in WareWars.

Samsung’s current Galaxy Note II smartphone has a 5.5 inch screen. Its Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet has, as its name suggests, a 10.1-inch display. Well, as you can see, there’s an opening between the two sizes and Samsung may be working on filling the gap. The South Korea-based electronics giant has already introduced several tablets in the 7-inch range, but it doesn’t yet have one at that size with S Pen support and a Wacom display for sketching and taking notes.

A new benchmark from NenaMark suggests that a model dubbed the GT-N5100 is already in testing. The “GT-N” part of the model name has been used in previous Note-branded products. The Galaxy Note 10.1 for example uses the GT-N8013 model number. The new benchmarks suggest the tablet will sport a 1280 x 720-pixel display, a 1.6GHz quad-core processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and an ARM Mali-400 GPU.
